“We Mean No Harm” – Prince Kaybee To Msaki

Earlier yesterday, it was reported that award winning south african disc jockey, Prince Kaybee was dragged out by twitter users after he failed to acknowledge singer Msaki on the award given to him at the 2019 Dance Music Awards South Africa.

It was reported that the DJ was absent during the event, but his booking manager was there to receive the award. On receiving the award, his manager made and appreciation speech and failed to acknowledge Msaki who collaborated with the DJ to produce the single that earned the award.

However prince kaybee also made an appreciation post on instagram and use the term “We” instead of mentioning Msaki’s name, and that wasn’t cool with Msaki.

However tweeps dragged prince kaybee out for such actions taken. But the DJ made a new post apologizing to everyone.

Responding to the tweet above, Msaki said:

“It’s all good Kabelo. I don’t mind that your booking manager didn’t mention me, that’s ok. You could’ve done that your post abt the award but it didn’t seem like a priority. You suggest I locate my contribution in the “we”. Even now, you could do better. Understand?”

Still apologizing to Msaki and fans, Prince Kaybee also said his willing to give out the award to Msaki if she wants.

“Taking this further, I have decided to give @Msaki_ZA the award if she does accept it. Honestly this is not about individuals, its a WIN for EVERYONE involved. Again I apologize on behalf of my booking agent. Love and peace.”

Prince Kaybee further explained himself and gave Msaki more shouts out.
